Everybody Dies For a Reason

In the performance, variations of the moment of death are being portrayed, as well as the dealing with death and thereby also living. The style varies from each scene and is a mixture of humoristic, tragic, political, romantic etc. Among others we meet; the dictator, the righties bartender, the suicidal harmonica player, the refugees, the romantic and the industrial machine. These variations combined creates an album of small stories, which in a musically and poetically frame gives a multitude picture of our diverse perception upon quality of life.

Musicians and actors from Denmark, Norway and Argentina went in 2008 on a road trip around the Baltic sea. Playing the performance in Poland, Lituania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland Sweden and finally Denmark, both as street performance and at festivals indoor.
Along the way the performance would grow with scenes inspired from the journey.

Everybody dies for a reason is a project that through theater and music will build a connection and understanding with other cultures. The collage performance Everybody dies for a reason, will start an existentialist dialog and investigate the cultural diversity around the Baltic sea.
